European Union compliance and product safety
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This page contains the information that European Union law requires us to publish about Junte, including provider details, the single point of contact, compliance with the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, DSA), the General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988, GPSR), and the safety and complaint mechanisms available to users within the European Economic Area.
1. Provider (trader) identity
The Junte mobile application is developed, published, and operated by:
- Legal name: Impulse Legacy L.L.C.
- Legal form: Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- Jurisdiction of incorporation: State of Wyoming, United States of America
- Registered address: 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
- Registered agent: Registered Agents Inc
- Operating headquarters: Asunción, Paraguay (product team and operations)
- Product trade name: Junte
- Website: junteapp.com
- Contact email: contacto@impulsatulegado.com
2. Single point of contact (DSA, art. 11 and 12)
Under article 11 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA), we designate a single point of contact for authorities of Member States, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services:
- Channel: email
- Address: contacto@impulsatulegado.com
- Suggested subject: "DSA — EU Authority"
- Accepted languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English
Under article 12, we designate the same channel as the single point of contact for users in the EU. Users can communicate directly, quickly, and by electronic means at the address indicated, in addition to the mechanisms available inside the application.
3. Legal representative in the European Union
Impulse Legacy L.L.C. is organized in the State of Wyoming, United States of America, and operates the product from Paraguay. Junte does not currently offer its services principally to people within the European Union and does not have a significant number of users in the EU within the meaning of article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. If this criterion is met in the future, a legal representative will be appointed in a Member State and the full details (name, postal address, email, and phone number) will be published on this same page.
In the meantime, communications from the EU may be directed to the single point of contact indicated in the previous section.
4. Nature of the product and regulatory category
Junte is a digital service mobile application that connects people around communities, plans, and a live map of social activities. It is not a physical product, it does not contain electronic, electrical, or mechanical components that the user handles, and it is not distributed on a physical medium.
- Product type: digital service software (mobile application)
- DSA category: data hosting service and online platform under article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065
- Very Large Online Platform (VLOP): no. Junte does not exceed 45 million monthly active users in the EU.
- Minimum age of use: 16 years. Junte is not directed at people under this age.
5. CE marking and product safety (GPSR)
Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (General Product Safety Regulation, GPSR) on general product safety applies mainly to physical products made available on the Union market. Junte is a digital service without physical components, so it does not require CE marking, does not include hazard symbols, and does not carry physical compliance labels. It is not distributed in packaging, does not incorporate replaceable parts, and does not contain batteries.
To the extent that the GPSR information obligations apply to the digital product, Junte complies as follows:
- Manufacturer identification: see section 1 of this page.
- Traceability information: the application version, operating system, and device are recorded in technical and support reports.
- Use warnings: see section 6.
- Channel for safety incidents: see section 7.
- Issue collection and response: see sections 7 and 8.
6. Warnings and instructions for safe use
- Meet people in public places: the first time you meet someone new, choose spaces with people around (cafés, bars, sports courts, restaurants). Avoid private homes until you know the person.
- Do not share sensitive data: exact address, ID, banking data, passwords, or information about minors should not be shared inside plans or chats.
- Age verification: registration requires declaring an age of 16 or older. Accounts flagged as belonging to minors are investigated and, where appropriate, deleted.
- Prohibited content: see terms of service and our child safety policy.
- Health and wellbeing: Junte is not an emergency or mental health service. In case of immediate risk, call local emergency services.
- Driving and attention: do not use the application while driving or crossing the street.
7. Incident reports and illegal content
Under article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, any person or entity may notify the presence of allegedly illegal content on Junte. We provide the following channels:
- Inside the app: the menu on each profile, message, plan, or community includes a "Report" option with predefined reasons and a free-text field for details.
- By email: contacto@impulsatulegado.com with the subject "Content report — DSA".
- Child safety (priority, response within 24h): see /en/child-safety.
All notifications receive electronic acknowledgment and a reasoned decision under article 17 of the DSA. Decisions may be challenged through the internal complaint-handling system described in section 9.
8. Known risks and measures adopted
Junte continuously identifies the risks associated with use of the service and applies proportionate measures to mitigate them:
- Harassment, hate speech, and violence: human review of reports, suspension of repeat accounts, and direct blocking by the user.
- Fraud or scams: in-app alerts when suspicious patterns are detected, ban on requesting transfers between strangers.
- Risky in-person meetings: recommendation of public spaces for first meetings (see section 6).
- Child safety: minimum age of 16, specific policy detailed at /en/child-safety, and zero tolerance toward CSAE/CSAM.
- Personal data protection: compliance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) where applicable; see /en/privacy.
9. Internal complaint-handling system (DSA art. 20)
Recipients of the service affected by a moderation decision, account suspension, content removal, or visibility restriction may file a free complaint by email to the single point of contact, within six months after the decision. Complaints are reviewed by a person other than the one who made the initial decision and resolved without undue delay.
10. Alternative dispute resolution (DSA art. 21)
When no agreement is reached through the internal complaint system, users of the service in the EU have the right to turn to an out-of-court dispute resolution body certified by the Digital Services Coordinator of their Member State of residence. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is also available: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Terms, transparency, and other mandatory information
- Terms and conditions: /en/terms
- Privacy policy (GDPR): /en/privacy
- Child safety policy: /en/child-safety
- Support: /en/support
- Content moderation information: integrated into the terms and the child safety policy.
