Terms of service
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These Terms of service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Impulse Legacy L.L.C. (the "Company", "we"), a Limited Liability Company organized in the State of Wyoming, United States of America, with registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, and operating headquarters in Asunción, Paraguay, operator of Junte, a mobile app and website for discovering communities, joining plans, and organizing in-person gatherings. By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms, by our Privacy policy, and by our Child safety standards.
1. Definitions
- User: any individual with an active account on Junte.
- Community: group of Users gathered around a common interest (sport, party, networking, etc.), public or private.
- Plan or junte (lowercase): in-person event or gathering created by a User, with location, date, time, and capacity.
- Organizer: User who creates or administers a Community or a Plan.
- Participant: User who joins a Plan.
- Content: any text, image, description, message, or information that a User posts on Junte.
2. Who can use Junte
To use Junte you must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are between 16 and 17, you represent that you have authorization from your parent or legal guardian. Each person may have only one personal account. A User whose access has been suspended is prohibited from registering again under another name or identity.
3. Your account
- The information you provide to us (name, photo, email, age, interests) must be accurate and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know at soporte@impulsatulegado.com within 24 hours.
- If you registered with Apple, Google, or another provider, that authentication is also governed by the provider's terms.
4. Community guidelines
You agree NOT to use Junte to:
- Post spam, scams, pyramid schemes, misleading content, or content that violates third-party rights.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or location.
- Post sexually explicit content. Content that involves or sexualizes minors is absolutely prohibited (see Child safety standards).
- Promote hate, violence, discrimination, or incitement against people or groups.
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, "dox", or share personal information of other Users without their consent.
- Promote, sell, or coordinate activities that are illegal in your jurisdiction (illegal drugs, weapons, trafficking, prostitution).
- Create Communities or Plans for fraudulent purposes, coordinated political manipulation, or promotion of violence.
- Upload copyrighted content without a license.
- Access Junte through automated means (scrapers, bots, crawlers), perform security testing without written authorization, or attempt to bypass moderation mechanisms.
- Use Junte for mass marketing or unsolicited commercial recruiting.
Non-compliance may result in removal of the Content, temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account, and, where appropriate, reporting to the authorities.
5. Your Content and limited license
You retain ownership of your Content. By posting it on Junte, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license solely to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that Content inside the app to the appropriate Users (members of the Community, Participants of the Plan, message recipients), and for reasonable operational purposes of the service (backup, moderation, product improvement).
The license terminates when you delete your Content, with two reasonable exceptions: (i) copies in backups for up to 90 days, and (ii) Content shared with third parties that may have been saved by them before deletion.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to the Content you post and that it does not violate third-party rights.
⚠️ 6. In-person Plans — read carefully
Junte is a coordination tool, we do not operate events. Plans are created, organized, and run by Users. The Company does not sponsor, operate, supervise, or guarantee any in-person activity coordinated through the app.
We do not exhaustively verify User identity beyond basic registration checks. We do not run background checks or in-person verifications. Meeting other Users in person carries the same risks as meeting anyone outside of Junte.
Safety recommendations you agree to consider:
- Public meetups at first: the first time you meet someone, do it in a public, busy place.
- Tell someone you trust: let a family member or friend know where you are going, with whom, and when you expect to return.
- Your own transportation: arrive and return by your own means. Do not share your personal address before meeting the person.
- Trust your instincts: if something feels off, leaving is always a valid option.
- Report inappropriate behavior: inside the app or to soporte@impulsatulegado.com.
- In an emergency: call 911 (Paraguay) or the emergency service in your country.
You assume the risk of your participation in any Plan. Responsibility for what happens during an in-person gathering, including physical safety, financial transactions between Participants, and compliance with local law, rests exclusively with those who participate. Junte does not act as a mediator in disputes between Users.
7. Organizer responsibilities
If you create Communities or Plans, you agree to:
- Describe the Plan accurately: location, schedule, capacity, cost, and clear rules.
- Have the necessary permits and licenses to use the space where you run the Plan.
- Comply with local rules applicable to the type of activity (public events, sale of beverages, etc.).
- Attend to Participant reports and reasonably apply your Community's guidelines.
- Not arbitrarily discriminate when admitting or rejecting Participants.
- Not require sensitive personal information (ID, banking data, home address) beyond what is strictly necessary.
Organizers act on their own behalf, not as agents or employees of Junte. Junte assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions of Organizers.
8. Moderation, reports, and appeals
We may remove Content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the community guidelines, or applicable law. Our moderation is primarily human review of reports received through the app or by email. We will add complementary technical tools as the product grows. We aim to make proportionate decisions and, when possible, explain them. You can appeal a decision by writing to soporte@impulsatulegado.com. We review appeals within 7 business days.
9. Junte intellectual property
The name Junte, the pin isologo with the Paraguayan flag, the brand typefaces and color palettes, the product copy, the source code, the app and website design, are owned by Impulse Legacy or licensed to it. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Junte in accordance with these Terms. Any use outside this scope requires prior written authorization sent to contacto@impulsatulegado.com.
10. Copyright infringement reports
We respect copyright and respond to valid infringement reports. If you believe your work was copied and posted on Junte without authorization, send a report to contacto@impulsatulegado.com with:
- Identification of the protected work and proof of ownership.
- Exact location of the infringing Content within Junte (link or screenshot).
- Your contact information and electronic signature.
- Good-faith statement that the use is not authorized.
We remove infringing Content within a reasonable time and notify the User who posted it. False reports may create liability for the reporter.
11. Prices, payments, and refunds
Junte is free. If a Plan has an entry cost (court rental, event ticket, paid workshop), that price is set and collected by the Organizer, outside of Junte. The Company does not process that payment, does not charge a commission, and is not a party to the transaction between Organizer and Participant. Any dispute over charges, refunds, or cancellations is resolved directly between the parties.
If we introduce paid features in the future (subscriptions, tools for Organizers), we will give reasonable advance notice and apply the refund policies of the corresponding app store (App Store or Google Play), plus the non-waivable consumer rights under your jurisdiction.
12. Third-party services and app stores
Junte uses third-party services (hosting, authentication, push notifications, maps, error reporting). These services have their own terms and policies. If you download Junte from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. In particular:
- Apple is not a party to these Terms. Apple does not provide Junte support. In case of incompatibility with the device, you may request a refund from Apple under its policy.
- Google Play has its own refund and support policies for published apps.
- Maps use OpenStreetMap (OSM) under the ODbL license.
13. Push notifications and communications
If you enable push notifications, we use them to inform you about relevant activity in your account (Plan chat messages, invitations, reminders). You can disable them at any time from your operating system settings or from Profile → Notifications inside the app. We do not use push notifications for mass advertising purposes.
14. Availability, changes, and termination
We make reasonable efforts to keep Junte available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time, with reasonable notice when changes are substantial. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or if you no longer meet the eligibility requirements.
15. Disclaimers (no warranties)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Junte is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor that any specific Plan will take place or meet your expectations.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impulse Legacy, its founders, employees, and vendors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, loss of data, reputational harm, or loss of opportunities. Total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the use of Junte will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months prior to the event, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD 50). This limitation does not apply to damages that cannot be waived under applicable law, nor to liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Impulse Legacy harmless against claims, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from: (i) your misuse of Junte, (ii) your Content, (iii) your participation in or organization of a Plan, (iv) violation of these Terms or third-party rights, or (v) your breach of applicable law.
18. Force majeure
The Company will not be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control: widespread internet or power outages, massive cyberattacks, natural disasters, armed conflicts, pandemics, governmental measures, or outages of critical infrastructure providers.
19. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Before initiating legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by writing to contacto@impulsatulegado.com. If there is no resolution within 60 days, the dispute will be submitted to the courts of the city of Asunción, unless the consumer protection rules of your country of residence require a different forum.
20. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits the non-waivable rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer (Consumer Protection Law 1334/98 in Paraguay and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions). If you live in Paraguay, you can file complaints with the Consumer Protection Secretariat (SEDECO, Paraguay).
21. Notices
We will notify you of important changes via the email registered to your account and/or inside the app. Formal notices to the Company are sent to contacto@impulsatulegado.com.
22. Assignment, severability, and entire agreement
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in the context of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, with reasonable notice to you.
- Severability: if a clause is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: failing to exercise a right does not imply a waiver of it.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy policy and the Child safety standards, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding use of Junte.
- Survival: the clauses on Content, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the product, in regulations, or in our practices. When changes are substantial, we give notice inside the app at least 15 days in advance. If you continue using Junte after the effective date, you are deemed to accept the updated Terms. If not, you can delete your account without penalty.
